There are no rules about the seasonality of clothes you want to send in. You can send us shorts in December or down coats in July!To maintain the integrity of offerings, Changing Your Clothes has guidelines concerning quality and type of clothing accepted.
- We can only “change” name brand clothing. Discount brands are not accepted. Some examples are Fred’s Kids, Route 66, Faded Glory, No Boundaries, Simply Basic.
- We do not accept underwear or socks.
- We do accept shoes with little to no wear.
- Clothing must still have the size tag attached.
- Clothing cannot have a name written anywhere on it.
- We can only take items another mother would want for her child. In other words, they need to be in mint, gently used condition. Each item must be free of notable flaws including, but not limited to:
- Missing buttons
- Broken zippers
- Stains
- Excessive wash wear
- Knee wear
- Holes
- Unraveling seams
- Fray
Because we can’t send back items that arrive and don’t meet the standards listed above, please be careful to inspect all your items before sending them to us. A good rule is to ask, “Would another mother be proud to dress her child in this?” If the answer is yes, send it in!. |
